Failure

Have you ever thought about the power of immortality through respawning? It’s a common feature in video games, where a character keeps coming back to life, fighting endlessly until the game’s conditions finally stop the battle. Respawning after death might seem like an unbeatable skill—but it’s both a blessing and a curse. Imagine facing a powerful enemy, only to be killed and tortured, but each time, you’re brought back to life. That sounds horrifying—an endless loop of pain.
As you can see, it’s both a curse and a blessing, depending on the context. But did you know we have our own version of this ability? We respawn in a way every time we rise from our failures. We all have our struggles—challenges that knock us down repeatedly. Life often feels like an ongoing battle, filled with pain, and sometimes we wish it would just stop. But there’s no way out. Perhaps we keep going for someone we care about, for family and friends who support us, or for children waiting for us to come home. Maybe we fight on because of a loved one who truly needs us. Eventually, we’re left with only one choice—to get up and keep fighting, to respawn again and again.
So, what do you think? Is this cycle a curse, or is it a blessing?
